Other (non-traffic) Net Schedules

These nets are for any purpose other than the passing of traffic. While traffic may be occasionally be passed on these nets, their primary purpose is not aligned with the National Traffic System (NTS). If you have a change/correction or addition to this list, please submit the related information by email to web@wnyham.com to have it added to this list.


After Dinner Net – This net is an informal, but directed conversational net open to all licensed amateurs and is hosted by the CNYARC on the MOARC 145.170 (-) CSQ repeater Wednesdays & Thursdays at 7PM local time (as net controls are available; anyone may act as net control and membership is not required – scripts available online at http://www.cnyarc.net).

CARES – Chenango County ARES Net – This VHF ARES training net meets Wednesdays at 7:30PM local time on the Norwich, New York CVARA 146.685MHz repeater with a PL of 110.9Hz. All stations inside or outside of Chenango County are welcome to participate in any CARES net or activity without membership.

CNY Swap & Information Net – This net is held weekly on Wednesdays at 7PM local time on the 147.000 Auburn Repeater with a PL of 71.9 Hz (which is EchoLink enabled) and includes other repeaters that are linked for the duration of the net. The net, hosted by Tim (N2VZD) allows hams to list amateur radio equipment for-sale or trade and allows the sharing of information related to various amateur radio events and activities.

EchoLink Roundtable – This net is held nightly at 7PM local time on the 147.240 Kirkland Repeater with a PL of 71.9 Hz (which is EchoLink enabled).

First Cup Net – The first cup net is an informal, but directed conversational open to all licensed amateurs to allow hams to start their day with other hams and is hosted by the CNYARC on the MOARC 145.170 (-) CSQ repeater Monday through Friday at 8AM local time (as net controls are available; anyone may act as net control and membership is not required – scripts available online at http://www.cnyarc.net).

Herkimer County ARES/RACES Net – The Herkimer County ARES/RACES net is held every Monday at 7PM local time on the Fort Herkimer Amateur Radio Club 145.110 Repeater with a PL tone of 167.9 Hz with the primary purpose of training. All amateurs are welcome to attend and are expected to follow net protocol announced in the preamble.

Lewis County Roundtable – The Lewis County Roundtable net is an informal net held every night at 8PM local time on the 146.955 Repeater. All amateurs are welcome to join in.

Pathfinder Net – The Pathfinder Net is held daily at 9PM local time on the 147.150 Oswego County Repeater for the purpose of amateur fellowship. All amateurs are welcome to attend.

North Country Net – This HF net meets Sundays at 8AM local time on 3.958MHz. Hams from all over the northern sections of New York State attend this net.

Slow-Scan TV Net – The Slow-Scan TV (SSTV) Net meets on Saturdays at 7PM local time on the KD2SL 146.670 Repeater with a PL tone of 103.5 Hz. All hams are welcome to join in the fun.
