NTS Net Schedules

The following NTS net schedule is subject to change. Please email web@wnyham.com with any changes/corrections.

AREA/LOCAL/SECTION/REGIONAL TRAFFIC NETS:

EAN: Eastern Area Net – Serving the Eastern Area – Net is held Monday through Friday @ 2:30PM local time on 7243 kHz for traffic routing in and out of the Eastern Area, which includes Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, and 8. This net time for EAN is Phone/Voice. The CW session of EAN is held daily @ 8:30PM local time on 3552 kHz for the same purpose.

ESS: Empire Slow Speed – Serving the State of New York – Net is held daily @ 6:00PM local time on 3576 kHz for CW traffic routing and CW and traffic practice and training.

NYPON: New York Public Operations Net – Serving the State of New York – Net is held daily @ 5:00PM local time on 3925 kHz for traffic routing between local VHF nets and 2RN (Second Region Net) all stations welcome to check in to the net, with or without traffic.

NYS (7PM): NYS CW Net – Serving the State of New York – Net is held daily @ 7:00PM local time on 3569 kHz with an alternate of 1815 kHz for CW traffic routing throughout New York State.

NYSPTEN: New York State Phone Traffic & Emergency Net – Serving the State of New York – Net is held daily @ 6:00PM local time on 3925 kHz for the purposes of routing traffic into and out of New York State and to be a point of contact for other amateurs. All stations are welcome to check in to the net, with or without traffic.

OCTEN: Oneida County Traffic & Emergency Net – Serving the Oneida County & Central New York areas covering the 315/680 area codes – Net is held daily @ 8:00PM local time on 145.170 (-) CSQ with call-ups on 147.240 (+) PL 71.9 [EchoLink 227963], 147.000 (+) PL 71.9 [EchoLink 9188], 146.685 (-) PL 110.9 & 146.850 (-) PL 167.9 for traffic handling & training purposes with all stations welcome to check in to the net, with or without traffic.

SECOND REGION NET – 630: 2RN – Serving region 2 – Net is held daily @ 6:30PM local time on 3925 or 3926 kHz depending on QRM for traffic routing between regions covered by the second region (NY, NJ and Eastern Canada) and from the second region up to EAN (Eastern Area Net). The 6:30 session is Phone/Voice as opposed to CW.

SECOND REGION NET – 745: 2RN – Serving region 2 – Net is held daily @ 7:45PM local time on 3565 kHz with alternates of 7108 kHz and 1815 kHz for traffic routing between regions covered by the second region (NY, NJ and Eastern Canada) and from the second region up to EAN (Eastern Area Net). The 7:45 session is CW only.

STAR: Southern Tier Amateur Radio – Serving the greater Southern Tier area covering the 607 area code – Net is held daily @ 6:30PM local time on 146.730 (-) PL 100.0 for traffic handling & training purposes with all stations welcome to check in to the net, with or without traffic.

WDN: Western District Net – Serving the Western areas covering the 716 & 585 area codes – Net is held Tuesday through Sunday @ 9:30PM local time on 145.390 (-) CSQ and Mondays @ 9:30PM local time on 146.640 (-) PL 141.3 with call-ups on 444.000 (+) CSQ and 146.910 (-) PL 100.0 for traffic handling & training purposes with all stations welcome to check in to the net, with or without traffic.
